Bark, Bunny, Bark!

Hello & Good day!
How are you? What have you been up to and what goal is this leading you towards?

I have spent most of my days at home last week, either doing work or sitting on my bum - doing work. 
The fact that I do not have bed sores on said part of my anatomy ups my gratitude daily!
But to be fair, once a day, I did go to the park near us to study important things - like tree bark!
Have you ever just noticed all the types of tree bark there are out there?
Below are just 5 different types I saw in 1 day!
My favourite was the mossy green 1, so weirdly soft and friendly! 

And the trees themselves?
Look at this fellow!
I love the 2 long, dead straight branches to the right making A-CUTE angle! 
Ah school math you serve me well...
It's too high to climb but wouldn't it be fun to try?
Eeek when I'm healed!! There's limits people, limits!!

There were TONS of lovely coloured flowers like this one all about the park, I call them 'bindweed' but they probably have a more magnificent name that I will be told - and then forget and go back to calling it bindweed...
Doesn't the heart look like it is GLOWING?!

There are more and more Cosmos flowers popping up everywhere too! 
Both pink and white which make me think of bags of marshmallows!
Doesn't it look like this photo was taken in Black & White?
Bonus points if you spotted the little crab spider hiding on the petal! 

Even the sky did some showing off!

The first (photographable) rainbow of the year!!
Make a wish!!
Or is that chicken bones you wish on? Well can't hurt to have a back-up wish, just in case...

A snowy egret looks hopeful as a flock of gardeners attack the plants with enthusiasm!
A great day for birds, if not so much for grasshoppers...

If you watch out along the walk to and from the park you can occasionally see the odd sneaky pet bunny outside his house, eating fresh greenery in a small pile of soft lush fur!
(I've never touched 1, and I won't try, but I can dream!) 
They are too big for snowy egrets to eat - SAFE!  
We try not think about roaming dogs...

This is daddy bunny, I see him the most, he will often go as far as 3 houses down to nibble the greenest of grasses! He usually ignores me, even when I walk right up close to him, but I don't mind 1 bit because I get to see him all up close and personal!

In fact it hurts my feelings more when he doesn't ignore me...

Finally, after 3 weeks of not shaving my head, due to being completely and utterly unable to, I was finally healed up well enough to ask Mr B to take the razor to me nut and go at it!
WHAT A RELIEF, YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!!
*Brushes hand along stubble and makes happy whimpering sounds*
B shaved his head as well so there was general improvement all round! 

So! I read about coddled eggs and I was like, wow that sounds like a mission to make - let me try make 1!
This is a pot with water in it and a little orange ceramic cup with an egg in it!
The water gently "boils" the egg till it's cooked. It took absolute ages but it worked!!! The egg was yummy! 
Those 6 white things floating about the pot? They're chopped up bits of potato, I figured whether or not the egg worked I could at least come out of this with some nicely cooked potato! 

I leave you with a photograph of chocolate you'd have to be a bit 'cooked' to buy. R500 for 2 slabs of chocolate, and you're still saving almost R100?!
Hmmn, buy groceries for a few days or let the family starve as I indulge my curiosity?!
Okay I will admit, I do wonder what it tastes like...plain chocolate? Mint? Regret?

In other news

I meant to go to work on Monday, but ached too much so I stayed home and then felt that wasn't' my smartest choice ever...

I put a T-shirt in the fridge to see if it would be nice & cool to put on afterwards. It was, but it warmed up so fast it wasn't really worth it.  Next time we try the freezer!

If you decide to eat 12 eggs in 1 sitting you really do deserve the consequences... *burps softly*

Bren inherited 2 shirts of mine, both of which look nicer on him than on me... 

I find myself looking at other people's chests (male or female) to see if anyone is flatter than I am. Currently I'm winning but there's 1 lady at the gym who's giving me some serious competition!
My flat chest and noticeable tummy make me look terribly like a Kewpie doll - that some kid went to town on with a permanent marker...

I came across the word 'Hippotoxotai' it's a nice word to google, and even more so to say, but it's hard to work into a conversation...

Allo! How goes? What have you been up to and will your descendants ever live it down? (I don't have descendants so LOOPHOLE!) Right, lets get down to the meaty chunks (literally) straight away! I fully engaged in having 1 of these last Monday and so that is why there was no weekly letter: Basically it's having both Boobs snipped off! Do they allow use of the word 'Boob' here? Hope so!  side note : aren't the blurry lights from Bren's PC most beautiful?! Anyone who's had bits of their bits snipped open/up/off will instantly recognize the ever fashionable outfits they get you to wear at surgery... I managed to put the surgical gown on the wrong way round with the opening at the front, not the back. I thought it looked dead stylish but the nurse insisted that my bum, decked out in these elasticated undies, had to poke through the back or the doctors feelings would be hurt.  Possibly it's a cultural thing...  Sadly the surgery ended in tragedy... 😭 Okay obv...

Goodest of Good Day to you!! How have you been? What have you been up to and did it leave your toes tingling?! I thought so!  I have been SO MUCH BETTER lately! A few dietary tweaks for the better, a lot of rest, a smidgeon less stress, and my life force is back to   BEAMING ! Thank Smurf!! Seriously lying about ill is no fun, everyone with a Chronic illness, I FEEL YOU!!!! Take it easy please!   During my incarceration time spent at home, I did watch the birds! We have some fantastic little fellows who bob along and sing and clumsily chase after bugs and provide utter amusement for those with the time to sit and stare out the window at them. This large friend came visiting recently and had his own impromptu photo shoot!  Don't you wish you could eat those beautiful berries too? (Please do not eat those beautiful berries, they are the Berries of Deepest Regret and not made for human tummies) And yes, much time was spent in the park, walking illness off.  Sw...

New Year, New You Hoo!!!

Hello! Good day! Good year!  Tire brand! And there is our word association game of the day!  I do hope you are weller than well and ready to take on the day with the ferocity of a cornered shrew!  Any BIG plans for the year? I always find small plans tend to be less stressful and actually stick & work out, have you noticed? So saying I don't have any.  We had a lovely holiday, I actually thought it would be more along the lines of this:  But actually we were rather  out  &  about!  All over really! It was great fun! I did sneak into work from the 17th to the 20th, they still took the leave off, but I got to use the water here and have the whole place nearly to myself - it was GLORIOUS!  Mind you, guess which small, bouncy person worked on the only floor where they didn't put the lights on?
