Berry good reading!

Goodest of Good Day to you!!
How have you been?
What have you been up to and did it leave your toes tingling?!
I thought so!

I have been SO MUCH BETTER lately! A few dietary tweaks for the better, a lot of rest, a smidgeon less stress, and my life force is back to BEAMING!
Thank Smurf!!
Seriously lying about ill is no fun, everyone with a Chronic illness, I FEEL YOU!!!!
Take it easy please!

During my incarceration time spent at home, I did watch the birds! We have some fantastic little fellows who bob along and sing and clumsily chase after bugs and provide utter amusement for those with the time to sit and stare out the window at them.
This large friend came visiting recently and had his own impromptu photo shoot!
Don't you wish you could eat those beautiful berries too? (Please do not eat those beautiful berries, they are the Berries of Deepest Regret and not made for human tummies)

And yes, much time was spent in the park, walking illness off.
Swami Jo reminds you that there's always something interesting out there if you are in the right mindset, when you are feeling terribly ill or glum, the park is just full of grass and bugs, but when you are hopeful and lively in spite of the ickiness, then oh, the park is just full of grass and bugs!!
Thank you rain for all of this!!

We had fog!!!
It's the first time I've seen any in ages and the first time I've seen it living in this area!
Traffic lights are the most intense things in the gloom! Bren is a brilliant driver though so I wasn't worried!
How the little red man burns! (Doesn't that sound misty, er, mystic?)

Green for go - cautiously, into the night!

We went to the Esoteric shop near-ish us and I decided to yoink me a tarot card and I got... The Hermit!!
I felt this was a most fantastically perfect Coinki-dink!
And the self discoveries I'm making... oh my!

Mr B at the shops: Droplets!
Me: Oooh!
Him: Oooh!
Camera: Click!
Honestly it would be utterly impossible, and very unclean, but some deep, beasty part of me would like to lick that and see what it tasted like... Probably like veggie water time forgot...

Mister tree screams!
Why does Mister tree scream?
I scream sometimes too Mister tree.
Scream Mister tree, scream!

Now which is your favourite flavour - caramel, dark, orange or more trees planted?
Decisions decisions...

Isn't the ivy all over this house so Storybook perfect?!
I wonder, with all that plant, how much of the brick keeps the house together and how much is knitted roots & tendrils?
I wonder if they get more bugs because of this?

"Excuse me my good Sir, this parking spot is taken!"
We politely parked elsewhere.

What do you suppose they were filming here at work, an advert? An interview? A snuff film?
There weren't any ponies or bright-colored balls so I didn't hang around long enough to find out...

Google them and tell me that a Brain cactus wouldn't go marvelously in here?!

For just R14.99 (76 cents to americans), you can buy your child the tools they need to start their own flourishing business! Little Susie can pierce* not just her own nose or ears, over and over and over again, but her friends' and pets' body parts as well! Why not get one for the w(hole) family?!
*Tetanus shot not included.

In other news

Plain, boiled potatoes are mad good! I recommend them as a balm for a restless day, just eat and enjoy the simplicity. Yum!

Bren tried Trout sausages as a treat on the weekend.
They did not turn out to be a treat.
Much joy will be had by the person(s) who buy any other packets we might have bought if they had turned out differently.

My book selection is such that I am currently reading, at the same time, various subjects like:
- Taoism
- Being a Benedictine monk
- Muderbot 3
- an author/runner's view on running as a author
- hard sci fi
- urban fantasy
- at least 2 teen books about androids, one born that way, one made that way, equal angst
- at least 3 books telling me how to live with at least 2 clashing in various areas
Books are so best entertainment!!

My shoes gave me a blister so I wore my spare pair and holy cheese Ratman! They were so comfortable!!! In closer inspection I find the previous shoes were worn down terribly inside and I hadn't even noticed - until I did! The feet are now safe, I repeat, the feet are now safe!

Wow is that all the news? I can deal with that!
I mean lots of wild, exciting, nail biting news can be interesting for the reader, but I find the readee often has to go through that all and it's not always poops & giggles ,so I am content with a week of quiet and uneventfulness!

May you and yours also find contentment in doing, oh, nothing much - vigorously!
From the couple just plip-plap-plodding along,
~JoBren
