How are you and yours?

What have you been up to and how much longer will the smell linger because of it?

Cor I have been healing up in leaps & bounds! (Even if technically I can still neither leap nor bound...)

I'm moving around more, sleeping on my back without cuss words, off the pain killers and going for walks - and even one darling little treadmill session! (Going at a demon pace of 3km/h)🍃

Most of this healing, a large chunk of it, a monstrous wedge of steaming pie of it, comes from Bren and his brilliant help, care and support! Bloke went above (sideways, diagonal, over) and beyond to help with chores and bandages and and finicky stuffs! Aaah!!! ♥

Not all heroes wear capes! 

But then, to be fair, not everything that wears a cape is a hero either...

Where the cape came from I can't say but...

The crime fighting savior of our parks?!

Both B and I got blessed with lady bugs recently! 

How is it you feel like a super special Disney character if a lady bug lands on you but if you have a fly merrily floating about your face your Snow White instincts turn to murder?

Our skies have been so interesting lately! A lot of rain makes for a lot of clouds and clouds are some of nature's best art!

(Besides sweet potatoes)

You often see shots of the moon, but not very many of the sun!

Doesn't it have a swirling cloud, 'demon in the mist' feel to it?

Enjoy the early morning chill because soon THE FIRES OF THE HEAVEN'S WILL BE UPON YE!

I think of the moon as having the personality sort of like a pagan or hippie, while the sun is rather more a being of wrath & reality and possibly dabbles in finance! 

When the city scape can go from soft and sherbety ....

To intense and dramatic!

All caused by cunning changes by clouds in the up above! 

This is my little "stress ball" froggo! It's fully of little jelly like green balls that are fun to move around with a free hand when you're feeling anxious, thoughtful or just enjoy the feeling of the little balls squidging around! 

Mind a close up of the tiny balls does make them look a lot like eggs hey?

That would make the toy a LOT more disconcerting...

So speaking of eggs, aren't these eggs beautiful?

It also fits perfectly in a round profile pic should the urge ever come upon you to pretend to be a bowl of pre-avian ovoids! 

Funny thing that eggs can have freckles as well!

Remember I was stuck in bed with not much to do for a while...

I watched the birds outside and sometimes they watched back, but mostly they had far more important things to do like bobbing about and look adorable! 

I wonder if they approved of my singing in the morning as much as I liked theirs?

I didn't find any dead or passed out birds after belting out a tune or 2 so that's a good start...

The rain made the pool water GREEN and all the plants reflecting in it was something to see!

Is it white chocolate? Nougat? A particularly flat but inviting cheese?

Nope, these are baked egg whites! 

You take the egg whites, put paper in an oven tray, squirt the liquid all about the pan, and then bake in the oven at whatever degrees for however long and TADA!

IT tastes amazingly like... well egg whites!

Good protein for a healing hoomin bean! 

It's also very wibbly-wobbly which is just an added bonus! 

THE SHAVEN HEAD CHRONICALS ENTRY #101:

This is the 2nd week I have been unable to shave my head.

I forget now the sensation of stubble. 

So this is what I look like with hair... 

*squints at reflective surface*...yes, I remember you...

Being sick.

Power outages.

No shower water.

How they have taken a toll upon my soul - and shaving abilities!

Will I never again look like a member of some cult heavily into shaved heads and exercise?

Will I forever more be the cruel victim of a cheerfully bad hair cut?!

Will this madness end?!

*touches head. Shudders*

In other news:

There was no hot water for most of the week due to the over cast weather, but the second the sun was back, Thursday, I had my first SHOWER!!! Ooooooh, you don't describe a thing like that, you just feel it!!

We don't have a mirror to see ourselves in, but the shower door sort of shows your vague profile and I like to look at it to see just how flat my chest is! Mesmerizing!

We are watching an episode a day of an anime that's all about swords and fighting to get them.

You'd think it would be all brutal and bloody but 4 episodes in and mostly all they do is talk. 

Katanagatari is the name if you want to look it up to watch it or to know what to avoid watching...

I finished all the books in the murderbot series and am in deep withdrawal - send fanfics!!! 

I got bitten by mosquitoes 15 times in about 5 minutes, how do I contact the Guinness book or world records?

Bren carries cheerfully on, he sends a wave and a smile and a slice of home-made pizza if you're up for it!

And that is that for this week!
