Slice of why...
Hi hi and hello!!
How are you and yours?
And the apple of your eye?
The pomegranate of your ear?
The asparagus of your pancreas?
All thriving?
Work is madly on the go and holidays long, long forgotten! (A survival mechanism to help avoid work place trauma).
Our meeting rate is up to a minimum of 2 a day with as many as 6 a day not being an exotic thing.
Meetings can go on and on and make it feel like time doesn't just slow down, but go backwards...
There is also a LOT of renovations going on at the office! This was the last photo I got before a ginormous black rubber curtain was set up over the whole site, blocking our sight, which is a sight for sore eyes!
Whatever are they building? New offices? A new work space? A mosh pit full of balls? (THIS!!)
I shall keep you updated!

An even a bigger mystery was them building this hardboard, long, long, rectangular THING smack in the middle between the gym (to the right) and the coffee place (to the left). I think you would indeed feel very boxed in inside there! (I saw 4 guys go in at once and hoped that none of them had a strong sense of smell...)

This is the finished product!
Jo speculates that they are cutting into the ceiling there to fix all the drips!
This comes from the heavy scientific evidence of:
1. The sound of ceiling being sliced into like the world's dries wedding cake
2. A sudden excess of drip buckets outside the meeting room opposite (11 buckets!)
Of course it could just be aliens...
Other construction items weren't hidden away with quite as much care:

Trying to photograph flying ants on the fly is hard!
Below I present either a blurry bug or a gruesomely naked fairy folk!
And look! A catty-pillar! I wonder what sort of butterfly it will become?
Tell me it doesn't just have classy butterfly vibes? Not a moth in the making here!
My interest in bugs is being fueled by this very informative book! It is as heavy as a sumo wrestler but a lot easier to put in a bag when done!
We have been hunting down heart-shaped items to take photos of! They almost always pop up when I DONT have a cellphone around me... but we managed to get 2 so far!
The sweet potato of luv!!

And the milky mess of mad about you!!
*p.s. yes yes I should carry my cellphone everywhere but to be fair when I do then nothing interesting pops up! Leave it at home and the world is a plethora of passionate places of perceivables!
ZAZZY PHOTO OF THE WEEK:
I got some really snazzy photos of trees this weekend and couldn't decide which to share with you, so ALL OF THEM just worked right!
Isn't the result so eye inspiring?! It reminds me of those puzzles where you slid the pieces around in a frame to try make a picture and usually got right except for 2 blocks that would NEVER match up!
CLOUD PIC OF THE WEEK:
A slight serving of whispy purple clouds about an indifferent cheese-slice moon! Delicious!
In Other News
Cor it's been hot here!
BAKING HOT!!!
Today at gym they forgot to put the air con on when we came in, so the first 30 minutes felt like 1.5 hours of free sauna!
Sweaty beans the lot of us!
Bren's been going to the gym now on weekends AND does a bit of home exercise after work! He is much happier occupying his body now! ^_^
I continue with the poems, a GINORMOUS THANK YOU to the folk who read them, I hope they continue to make you chuckle! (and occasionally think, but not too often, we have standards here!)
I stayed home and cleaned everything on Saturday! It was the cleanest place in the universe (And then the dirtiest on Sunday, after grocery shopping and delving into said shopping for snackables, which was mildly vexing...)
If you are unsure what to indulge in, but desire reading material, may I recommend Martha [someone's] books, the Murderbot series? I went in very dubiously but found it to be cute, funny, action filled and entertaining! Next up is book 5 (of 7) and it is still fantastically good!
Wells! Martha Wells!
Wells that be that m'dear!
Please stay well (ok enough Jo), be cheerful and let life's worries slide off you like water off a capybara's back!
From the couple who wouldn't mind a nice float in fruity waters,
~JoBren!
