A bit of Drier humor...

Hi!!!
How are YOU today?
Are you up?
About?
EnerGETic?
Annoying because you are all those things and others are not? ✨

We are nearing the end of our lovely rainy month!
I will miss the clouds something fierce! Almost each day was a smorgasbord of photo opportunities!
Or just the opportunity to look up and up and up...

The mosquitoes have been out in force as well - the dark, evil Yin to the rains joyful Yang...
A battalion or more go for me if I ever so much as set a hoof outdoors
Or indoors.
Or in the car.
Or the gym or...
They are my biggest fans...

Our skies are still fascinating to admire, and early morning walks are all crispy air and peachy-colored everything!

Still, I think grey is awesome!!!

Some of the more soft-bodied, littler life-forms have also been out and about en masse!
We've seen an absolute delight of frogs pop HOP popping by,  and a whole French dinner of snails, some in some of the strangest places!
They are surprisingly excellent climbers! I don't think most of us could climb up here with a small caravan on our backs!

A shaft of light was making some intense rainbow colors high up on the tippity-top of the building opposite me. It really was much lovelier than this, but the zoom on my phone was starting to make gasping noises and, if I breathed in too hard, the focus would rocket off into the sky!
Still this photo exists so it counts!🌈

Sudden weather change!
The very last rainstorm we had this week and weren't we admiring this?! This being the cyclist there in all his sodden wet glory! The rain was extremely heavy and most cyclists would have sought shelter, but there he was peddling on, trying to get home regardless! Possibly he really needed the loo?
See Bren's noble head in the mirror, with all watery windows behind!

From my treadmill:
Sometimes you don't even need the weather to completely change the whole atmosphere of a room!
Example:
Oh what a lovely sunny day, I can see for miles!

HAHA no cheerful sights for you missy! Batten down the blinds!!!
Suddenly the whole room feels more closed in and dark!
(Well okay it was literally darker...)
but it did feel like the gym had gone into a major sulk!
Come back light, all is forgiven!!!
The orange thing is my towel over the front of my treadmill, I have my reasons!

Aah the terrible impermanence of transient things...

Mind some things are best when they are impermanent, look at this! I clobbered my head - it hurt! - and this odd shaped bruise popped up! Doesn't it look like some sort of Japanese writing?
(Probably the word for 'Clumsy Oaf'....)
I tried to search on Google Lens to see if it would match to any writing, but all I got were a lot of photos of the top of bald guys heads, which was rather a nice community feeling, but not exactly what I was looking for...

Oh here is 1 of the 2 glass window columns at work super early in the morning! Don't you love all the different reflections in each pane?

Speaking of something you don't see every day, have you ever seen the foot print of a lion before?!
Me neither, this is just a dog's footprint but he must have been something to see, how huge!

Someone needs to stay out of mud puddles! Not me of course, they're fun, but someone!

Ironically if you walk enough the bottom of your foot ends up the cleanest!
To the showers Jo!!!!💧

Cloud photo of the week:
I'm walking on the air...♫

* Cor, 4 feet photos in a row, the foot fetishists must be all a quiver!!!

In Other News:
3 weeks in and the drip in the office besides me is still going! *small squeaking noise of happiness!*
Do you think we could get a solid month in?
Tune in next week to find out!

By some weird roulette of life, Bren and I have switched places on the weekend, from now on I will be home early morning and he will be off to gym. This is to prevent Jo's from wearing themselves out on large, heavy machinery! As Jo's still have PHENOMINAL AMOUNTS OF ENERGY our place will become the cleanest temple known to man!!!
Bring forth the bristly-brush and lets get scrubbing!!!

Bren is also experimenting with using various soups and noodles to create his own home Ramen!
Results are encouraging!

My latest hobby seems to be finding Youtube videos to put on my watch later list - only to delete later when I decide I don't really want to watch them, not really really… It is a simple but good life.

And that is this weeks news!
Shoo, what a rollercoaster!!

Take care for this whole chunky-dunk week and let's fly freely through it,
From the couple who enjoy winging it...
~JoBren!
